Supported by the Council of Europe and the European Union, Slovakia improved its local democratic governance and developed a more robust legislative framework that leads to reinforcement of institutional structures and enhanced collaboration between local, regional, and central authorities. Local democratic governance is improved in line with Article 4 of the SRSP Regulation.
