The Government of the Netherlands has made a voluntary contribution of €80 000 to support human rights and equality for LGBTI persons and the Safety of Journalists Platform. 

The Netherlands has also contributed €100 000 to the Human Rights Trust Fund*.

The agreement was signed on 11 March 2025 by Mrs Heleen Bakker, Vice Minister for European Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Mr Alain Berset, Secretary General.

*The HRTF brings together eight contributors: Finland, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
