Japan makes a voluntary contribution

The government of Japan has made a voluntary contribution of €25,000 to support the Council of Europe action against cybercrime, and notably to finalize the 2nd additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention, and €20,000 to the Intercultural Cities Programme and their work on intercultural inclusion as a model for the Asia-Pacific region.

The agreement was signed by Ambassador Takeshi Akamatsu, Permanent Observer of Japan to the Council of Europe, and Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, Deputy Secretary General.
