The Government of Japan has made a voluntary contribution of €25,000 to support the prevention of violence against women.
 
The agreement was signed on 12 November 2024 by Ambassador Hiroyuki Uchida, Permanent Observer of Japan to the Council of Europe, and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
