The government of Belgium has made a voluntary contribution of €2,000,000 to support the implementation of Council of Europe activities in the field of consolidating and strengthening the rule of law.

An agreement was signed on 12 December 2018 by Mr. Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, and Mr Thorbjørn Jagland, Secretary General.
