The Government of Belgium made a contribution of €479  854.15 to support:

• media freedom in the Republic of Moldova;

• multilevel governance and participatory democracy in Kosovo*;

• transparency, inclusiveness and integrity of electoral practice and processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina;

• prevention of bullying and violence in schools in Montenegro;

• human rights and equality for LGBTI persons.

These funds are part of the €4 million voluntary contribution from Belgium to support Council of Europe activities in the field of consolidating and strengthening the rule of law.
Several action plans and projects have been supported by Belgium to date.

Ambassador Delphine Delieux, Permanent Representative of Belgium to the Council of Europe, met with Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General, on this occasion.
