European Drug Prevention Prize 2016
The 7th European Prevention Prize of Pompidou Group was awarded on 15 November 2016 in Venice during a reception on the occasion of the Pompidou Group’s Symposium on New Psychoactive Substances.
Three Prizes – each consisting of a trophy and a cheque for €5,000 – were awarded for innovative work in drug prevention with the active involvement and participation of youth.
In September, the Jury of six young people from Morocco, Iceland, Israel, Poland and North Macedonia had examined 47 applications from 22 countries and selected the three projects they considered to be the most innovative in terms of content, efficiency and active youth participation. Four other projects which they found interesting and worthwhile were nominated for their noteworthy work in drug prevention with the active involvement of youth.
