Young Jury selects Winners of Pompidou Group’s 2025 Prevention Prize

Seven young jurors from Belgium, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, Portugal, Slovenia, and Türkiye gathered—both in-person and online—at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg to choose the winners of the Pompidou Group’s 2025 Prevention Prize. This unique initiative of the Council of Europe (Pompidou Group) empowers young people to recognise innovative, youth-led projects in drug, behavioural and digital addiction prevention.

The jury shortlisted promising entries and by consensus, selected three winning projects. Each winner will receive a trophy, diploma and €6,000 to further their impact. The awards will be presented at the 19th Ministerial Conference of the Pompidou Group which shall take place in Strasbourg on 27-28 November 2025.

Established in 2004, the Prevention Prize promotes youth leadership in designing and implementing prevention initiatives, now welcoming applications from all Council of Europe and MedNET region countries.
