Intercultural cities programme

Usually every second year we celebrate the „festival of cultures“ in the cities cultural centre. People from all over the world share their traditions in arts and music, feed everybody with amazing tastes and show Erlangen, how lucky it can be to have such a variety of men and cultures.

The festival started back in the 1980s and has been ever since a very exciting event for many many people in the city. Furthermore on that day the cities migration council honours two persons or organizations, who have been examplary in supporting migrants to feel at home in Erlangen
