Eurimages no longer requires that 50 DVDs of completed films having received co-production support be provided in order to draw down the final payment.
Instead, producers can now provide a streaming link to view the film. This link must be valid for at least one month and the version made available must have English subtitles (or an English language soundtrack) and, if possible, French subtitles. However, we do still require that three DVD copies with English-language soundtrack or subtitles and, if possible, French-language sub-titles, are sent to the Secretariat in Strasbourg for archiving purposes.
This change to the publicity material to be provided initially applied only to projects supported in 2021 and later. However, by a decision of the Board of Management of Eurimages in July 2022, the link and 3 DVD requirement now applies to all projects supported, not just to those supported since 2021.
