Calls For Proposals 2027-2029
For many years now, the Eurimages Fund has collaborated with external partners for the presentation of specialised awards or the sponsorship of events relevant to its various activities.
As the current cycle of these partnerships ends in 2026, Eurimages has launched 5 calls for new proposals or expressions of interest for the period 2027-2029 as follows.
Three concerned the Promotion Programme to select:

co-production markets which will present the Eurimages Co-production Development Awards,
-
initiatives which will present the New Eurimages Lab Awards and
-
receptions and events which will benefit from Eurimages sponsorship in the framework of film initiatives contributing to the visibility of the international cinematographic co-production and of the Eurimages Fund
Two concerned the Strategy for Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion to select:

festivals which will present the annual Eurimages Audentia Award for the best woman director;
-
initiatives which will benefit from Eurimages sponsorship in the framework of film and audiovisual events contributing to the promotion of Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the film industry.

Audentia Awards
Gender Equality and Diversity & Inclusion Strategies
Further to the recommendations by the independent experts, the Board of Management has decided to support during its meeting on 25 and 26 June 2026, the following initiatives for the Audentia Award for the upcoming cycle 2027-2029:
- 2027 Reykjavik International Film Festival (Iceland)
- 2028 Sofia DocuMental (Bulgaria)
- 2029 St. John's International Women's Film Festival Inc. (Canada)
Sponsorships Promoting Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Further to the recommendations by the independent experts, the Board of Management has decided to support during its meeting on 25 and 26 June 2026, the following initiatives for sponsorship framework of film and audiovisual events contributing to the promotion of Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the film industry:
- CIRCLE Training Initiative for Women and Gender-Expansive Filmmakers (Serbia)
- EAVE – Impact Think Tank
- EFM Toolbox – The Toolbox Alumni Lab (Germany)
- Forum RIDM - Doc Lab Montreal (Canada)
- Sisterhood of Young Animation Auteurs (SYAA) (Romania)
- StepIn – Locarno International Film Festival (Switzerland)

Further to the recommendations made by independent experts, the Eurimages Board of Management, during its plenary session on 25 and 26 June 2026, approved the selection of the following co-productions markets to present the Eurimages Co-production Development Awards during the 2027-2929 cycle:

Eurimages New Lab Awards

Further to the recommendations made by independent experts, the Eurimages Board of Management, during its plenary session on 25 and 26 June 2026, approved the selection of the following initiatives to present the Eurimages New Lab Awards
during the 2027-2029 cycle:
- AGORA (Greece) – Outreach Award
- CPH:DOX (Denmark) – Innovation Award
- IFFR (Netherlands) – Outreach Award
- Visions du Réel (Switzerland) – Innovation Award
Sponsorships
Promotion Programme
Further to the recommendations made by independent experts, the Eurimages Board of Management, during its plenary session on 25 and 26 June 2026, approved the selection of the following initiatives to benefit from Eurimages sponsorship during the 2027-2029 cycle:
- ACE for an amount of 10,000 euros;
- CICAE (European Arthouse Cinema Day) for an amount of 10,000 euros;
- European Film Promotion for a total amount of 10,000 euros, divided equally between the initiatives Producers on the Move at the Cannes Film Festival and Europe! Hub at TIFF at the Toronto International Film Festival;
- Frontières International Co-production Market (Canada) for an amount of 10,000 euros;
- Alliance 4 Development @ Locarno FF (Switzerland) for an amount of 2,750 euros
- ECAM Forum Cocktail (Spain) for an amount of 3,000 euros;
- FIDLab (France) for an amount of 3,000 euros;
- Forum Alentours (France) for an amount of 3,000 euros and
- Warsaw Industry Days (Poland) for an amount of 3,000 euros.
