Calls For Proposals 2027-2029

For many years now, the Eurimages Fund has collaborated with external partners for the presentation of specialised awards or the sponsorship of events relevant to its various activities.

As the current cycle of these partnerships ends in 2026, Eurimages is now launching 5 calls for new proposals or expressions of interest for the period 2027-2029 as follows.

Three concern the Promotion Programme and aim to select:

co-production markets which will present the Eurimages Co-production Development Awards,
initiatives which will present the New Eurimages Lab Awards and
receptions and events which will benefit from Eurimages sponsorship in the framework of film initiatives contributing to the visibility of the international cinematographic co-production and of the Eurimages Fund

Two concern the Strategy for Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and aim to select:

festivals which will present the annual Eurimages Audentia Award for the best woman director;
initiatives which will benefit from Eurimages sponsorship in the framework of film and audiovisual events contributing to the promotion of Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the film industry.

Audentia Awards

Gender Equality and Diversity & Inclusion Strategies

This call for proposals is launched in the framework of the Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy of the Eurimages Fund. It aims to select festivals that are relevant and likely to meet the Fund’s quality standards and values. The Eurimages’ Audentia Award was created to encourage women in filmmaking in their ongoing careers by giving them extra financial support for their upcoming films based on the quality of the film screened at the selected festival.

Sponsorships Promoting Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Gender Equality and Diversity & Inclusion Strategies

This call for proposals for sponsorships is launched in the framework of the Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy of the Eurimages Fund. It aims to co-fund initiatives such as ad hoc projects, trainings, mentorships, conferences, residencies or events, which, by sharing the same objectives and values as the Fund, are likely to give visibility to its activities and to promote gender equality, diversity and inclusion in the film industry.

Co-production Development Award

Promotion Programme

This call aims to select co-productions markets that will present the Eurimages Co-production Development Awards according to the Fund’s quality standards and values. The selected co-production markets are expected to provide visibility to both the Fund and international film co-productions.

Eurimages New Lab Awards

Promotion Programme

This call aims to select initiatives that will host the Eurimages New Lab Awards in accordance with the exclusion, eligibility and selection criteria defined in the specifications. The selected initiatives are expected to provide visibility to both the Fund and international film co-productions.

Each initiative selected will present either one Innovation Award of €20,000 to an innovative project in development in order to promote experimentation or one Outreach Award of €30,000 to an innovative work-in-progress project in order to promote international audience outreach.

Sponsorships

Promotion Programme

This call aims to select film-related initiatives to promote both the Eurimages Fund and international film co-productions through partnerships with high profile initiatives willing to highlight them.

Each applicant can submit an application for either a reception OR an initiative.
