Eurimages New Lab Awards - NLA

In 2023, the Eurimages Board of Management approved the establishment of two Eurimages New Lab Awards for innovative, non-conventional and experimental works exploring new forms of expression in terms either of content and/or format, i.e:
the Innovation Award of €20,000 for innovative projects in development to promote experimentation and
the Outreach Award of €30,000 for innovative work-in-progress projects (in late production or post-production) to promote audience outreach.
The following markets have been selected to present the New Lab Awards for the 2024-2026 cycle:
- CPH:DOX in Denmark
- International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) in The Netherlands.
These new awards succeed the Eurimages Lab Project Awards, launched for and presented to innovative projects exploring new forms of expression during the 2016-2020 period.
