Last night, the jury of the 72nd edition of the Berlinale awarded the Golden Bear to the co-production ALCARRÀS (ES, IT) by Carla Simón, supported by Eurimages and winner of the Eurimages Co-production Development Award at the Berlinale Co-Production Market in 2019.

Eurimages is proud of this 4th Golden Bear, in this case awarded to a young woman for her second feature film made with non-professional actors.

In the Encounters section, a second co-production supported by the Fund, SEE YOU FRIDAY, ROBINSON (FR, CH), also directed by a woman, Mitra Farahani, won the Special Jury Prize.

This recognition of the quality of the films supported by the Fund by one of the most important international film festivals in the world confirms once again the value of the Eurimages label.
