A total of 11 co-productions supported by the Eurimages Fund have been selected for the 77th Cannes Film Festival, which runs from 14 to 25 May 2024.
Five of them are in the Official Competition:
THE SHROUDS (CA, FR) by Canadian director David Cronenberg
GRAND TOUR (PT, IT, FR) by Portuguese director Miguel Gomes
ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT (FR, NL, IN, LU) by Indian director Payal Kapadia
PIGEN MED NÅALEN / THE GIRL WITH THE NEEDLE (DK, PL, SE) by Swedish director Magnus von Horn and
the animated film THE MOST PRECIOUS OF CARGOES (FR, BE) by French director Michel Hazanavicius.
Four films have been selected in the Un Certain Regard section:
WHEN THE LIGHT BREAKS (IS, NL, HR, FR) by Icelandic director Rúnar Rúnarsson
THE SHAMELESS (CH, FR, BG) by Bulgarian director Konstantin Bojanov
SEPTEMBER SAYS (IE, UK, DE) by Franco-Greek director Ariane Labed and
the animated film FLOW (LV, FR, BE) by Latvian director Gints Zilbalodis.
A third animated film will be presented as part of the Young Audience Screenings: SAUVAGES (CH, FR, BE) by Swiss director Claude Barras.
Lastly, the Eurimages-supported film GHOST TRAIL (FR, BE, DE) by French director Jonathan Millet will be presented in a special screening to open Critics' Week.
