Thokozani Chimbe is a key architect of Malawi's cybersecurity legal framework, currently leading the development of its pioneering Cyber Crime and Electronic Evidence Bill. As a seasoned ICT legal specialist with a Master’s in Computer and Communications Law, her work focuses on creating legislation that aligns with international standards.
Her leadership extends to fostering inclusion in the digital sphere as the Chairperson of the Women in Cyber Conference, advocating for the integration of gender perspectives in cybersecurity policy. An internationally recognized expert, Thokozani is a UN Women in Cyber Fellow and a Commonwealth Cybersecurity Fellow, bringing a vital African perspective to the global dialogue on cybercrime legislation.
