Raymond OMOLLO

Appointment by HE. CGH President William Ruto, Dr. Raymond OMOLLO is the Principal Secretary (PS) in the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration. Under this docket, he is responsible for:
the co-ordination of a range of national government functions and policies in the counties, implementation and oversight of internal security policies, executing national cohesion and integration, policies on training of security personnel in border management (Marine and Terrestrial), Disaster and Emergency Response Co-ordination, management of Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Food, overseeing policies on National Crime Research and Management as well as any other delegations granted upon me by HE. CGH President William Samoei Arap Ruto. Prior to this current role, he served as the Managing Director of the Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA), a government agency that spearheads the socio-economic development of 18 counties in the Lake Victoria basin region. He was responsible for overseeing the agency's activities and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the use of its resources.
Dr. Raymond Omollo holds a master’s degree in Biometry from the University of Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya and a Doctor of Philosophy PhD in applied Statistics from Maseno University in Kenya.
