Japan makes a voluntary contribution

The Government of Japan has made a voluntary contribution of €20,000 to the Council of Europe action against cybercrime.

This is the ninth dedicated contribution from Japan in support of the annual Octopus conference.

The agreement was signed on 21 September 2021 by Ambassador Takeshi Akamatsu, Permanent Observer of Japan to the Council of Europe, and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
