On 9 March, the GLACY+ PROJECT organised a hybrid awareness workshop on new tools of the Second Additional Protocol to the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).

The workshop was a good opportunity for the members of the Special Inter-Institutional Commission mandated to analyze Peru’s accession to international treaties, as main target audience, to reach a better understanding of the tools for enhanced co-operation and disclosure of electronic evidence made available through the provisions of the Protocol, and the ways in which they respond to the needs of practitioners in the field.

Peru is a priority country for the joint European Union-Council of Europe GLACY+ project and in this capacity is able to receive further tailored fit capacity building to strengthen the national criminal justice authorities in the fight against cybercrime.
