25 federal judges from Brazil enhanced their training knowledge through a successful completion of a two-day online “Training of Trainers: Adult Training Methodologies” course, organised under the GLACY-e project, an initiative of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
The course was designed to build judges’ practical skills and competencies in adult education, with an emphasis on interactive learning and training delivery, fully aligned with the principles of adult education.
Upon completing the Training of Trainers programme, participants will become part of a dedicated national pool of trainers, fully qualified to independently deliver cybercrime and electronic evidence trainings at the national level. They will meet the requirements for Council of Europe certification after further facilitation experience. This achievement greatly reinforces Brazil’s capacity in tackling cybercrime and handling electronic evidence, in line with international standards such as the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).
