Esther Beceiro is a lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights, where she processes individual applications, including cases concerning freedom of expression. She frequently participates in conferences and trainings related to the Court’s proceedings and case-law, including for example at the Spanish Judicial School and several universities. Prior to joining the Court, she worked for different State institutions, international organisations and non-governmental organisations, such as the Constitutional Court of Spain, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Amnesty International. She studied law in Spain and Italy, as well as a Master on human rights in Spain.
