CyberSouth: Training of Trainers on cybercrime and e-evidence for magistrates in Jordan

The CyberSouth project supported the organization of the Judicial Training of Trainers (ToT) on cybercrime and electronic evidence for Jordanian magistrates. The event took place in Amman, in cooperation with the Judicial Institute of Jordan, from the 29th of November to the 2nd of December 2021.

The ToT course aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of magistrates on the training methodologies, ways of delivering cybercrime and e-evidence judicial training as well as the role of trainer.

During the four days event, the magistrates coming from the Judicial Council and the Jordan Armed Forces, have shown a high interest in the topics of discussion, actively participating to all the sessions including in the training team competition where Jordanian representatives performed the role of trainers.

The gained competences will enable the Jordanian magistrates to share their knowledge among their peers by conducting domestic training sessions on cybercrime and e-evidence.

The CyberSouth project already delivered the ToT for Tunisian magistrates in November and will continue to deliver it in the rest of its priority countries.
