The Secretariat of the CEPEJ and the representatives from the European Commission have participated in the main event, which took place in Vilnius (Lithuania) on 25 October 2012, in presence of the Minister of Justice of Lithuania, Mr Remigijus Šimašius.

On the occasion of the European Day of Civil Justice, on 25 October 2012, the Crystal Scales of Justice Prize has been awarded.
