Two separate events are taking place:

• one is a school for judges in the field of commercial and civil law, where different topics from the case law of courts connected with civil law will be discussed by judges.
  • Programme of the school for judges in Slovenian
• The second event is organised by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia. On the day of the event, the 25th of October, students from the Law Faculty at the University of Ljubljana will visit the Supreme Court, where they will have a presentation of the Slovenian judicial system, as well as the opportunity to talk to a civil supreme court judge about the vocation of a judge and his/her duties and responsibilties. To have a better insight of the the interior of the Judicial palace the students will visit the major conference room, where joint sessions of the Supreme Court take place as well as one of the chambers where trials take place.
