Register for the ICC Webinar

The ICC programme is pleased to invite all members of the national and international ICC networks, as well as everyone interested in this topic, to register to attend the ICC webinar on “Identifying and preventing systemic discrimination: the importance of data and evidence”. It will be held on Monday 23 May 2022 from 3 pm to 5.30 pm (CEST). Working languages will be English and French.

This event is a continuation of our work on systemic discrimination which started in 2020. It seeks to call on good practices across ICC members, with a view to supporting all cities to meet the challenges related to effectively mobilising data and evidence for identifying and preventing systemic discrimination.

The webinar will be presented and moderated by ICC expert Niall Crowley and will seek to discuss and explore the following three related aspects:

  • Data strategies: issues in generating and using data and evidence to combat systemic discrimination, with the participation of experts from Belgium and Ireland.
  • Data practices: good practices available in generating and using data and evidence to combat systemic discrimination, with the participation of Barcelona (Spain), Kirklees (United Kingdom), Montreal (Canada) and Neuchâtel (Switzerland).
  • Supporting good Practice: guidance and training on the topic of the webinar will be developed over the next months. During that last part of the event, participants will be able to voice their expectations and needs with regards to the nature and content of these tools.

Don’t forget to register if you want to be kept informed about the webinar and receive the link to attend! We look forward to seeing you in the webinar!
