ECRI Seminar for national independent authorities combating racism and intolerance
Venue: Strasbourg – Council of Europe, Human Rights Building
Organised by: the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) of the Council of Europe
Participants: this Seminar brought together representatives of national specialised bodies to combat racism and racial discrimination, representatives of general human rights institutions (Ombudsman, Human Rights Commissioner etc.).
Aims: This seminar aimed to assist member States in their efforts at reform in this field and provide key actors in this process with a forum for exchange and discussion as to how best to implement legislation to combat racism and racial discrimination.
