Interview of Giuseppe Palmisano: Conclusions 2017 of the European Committee of Social Rights

Following the publication of the 2017 Conclusions of the European Committee of Social Rights, the President of the Committee Giuseppe Palmisano gave an interview for the Council of Europe Human Rights channel.

In 2017, the European Committee of Social Rights examined the situation in 33 States Parties to the European Social Charter on rights relating to health, social security and social protection and found 175 situations of non-conformity with the provisions of the European Social Charter, 228 of conformity and in 83 cases the Committee was unable to assess the situation due to lack of information and has differed its conclusion.
