Reflecting on cultural diversity, identity, stereotypes and prejudices was the motto launched by young people from Amadora who, in collaboration with different partner institutions (local and national), built their own narratives, communicating life experiences, but also the changes needed, looking to the future.
This partnership work is documented in videos, corresponding to the different narratives of young people, and translates the exercise of active and participatory citizenship, in fighting rumors, with the deconstruction of stereotypes and prejudices.
This activity is integrated in the following projects / plans:
- “Rumourless Cities” (Local URACT Group), within the scope of the URBACT III Programme;
- II Municipal Plan for the Integration of Migrants from Amadora, 2018-2020 / Priority intervention area “Media and Public Opinion Awareness”.
Refletir sobre a diversidade cultural, identidade, estereótipos e preconceitos foi o mote lançado a jovens da Amadora que, em colaboração com diferentes instituições parceiras (locais e nacionais), construíram as suas próprias narrativas, comunicando experiências de vida, mas, também, as mudanças necessárias, olhando para o futuro.
Este trabalho conjunto está documentado em vídeos, correspondendo às diferentes narrativas dos jovens, e traduz o exercício de uma cidadania ativa e participativa, no combate a rumores, com a desconstrução de estereótipos e preconceitos.
