Films supported by Eurimages and nominated for the European Film Awards took home multiple prizes from the ceremony held on Saturday 17 January 2026 in Berlin.
The evening was dominated by the co-production SENTIMENTAL VALUE (Norway, France, Denmark, Germany and Sweden), directed by Joachim Trier, which received awards in the major categories:
- Film
- Director – Joachim Trier
- Screenwriter – Eskil Vogt and Joachim Trier
- Actor – Stellan Skarsgård
- Actress – Renate Reinsve
- Composer (Original Score) – Hania Rani
SIRĀT (Spain and France), directed by Oliver Laxe, was also acclaimed for the excellence of its artistic and technical achievements:
- Production Designer – Laia Ateca, Amanda Villavieja and Yasmina Praderas
- Sound Designer – Laia Casanovas
- Editor – Cristóbal Fernández
- Casting Director – Nadia Acimi, Luís Bértolo and María Rodrigo
The documentary FIUME O MORTE! (Croatia, Slovenia and Italy), directed by Igor Bezinović and supported by Eurimages, received the award for Best European Documentary.
As announced in early December 2025, the Eurimages International Co-production Award went to Maren Ade, Jonas Dornbach and Janine Jackowski, co-founders and key figures of the German production company Komplizen Film.
These awards once again highlight the vitality of European creativity and the essential role played by Eurimages in supporting the co-production of ambitious works led by both established and emerging talents.
