Two special events to celebrate co-production are coming up soon.

On 5 November 2024, a special conference to mark the 30^th anniversary of the European Convention on Cinematographic Co-production will be held in Strasbourg. The conference, held as one of the events of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of Europe, will bring together leading voices from the European film industry as they explore the vital role of co-production in fostering cross-border creative co-operation, promoting cultural diversity and supporting freedom of expression. And on 7 November, as part of the World Forum for Democracy, taking place at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, the Pilot Programme for Series Co-productions will host a Forum Talk spotlighting a new series supported by the programme - “The Kollective: Fighting for Truth in a World of Deception”. This fictional series builds on a highly successful documentary on the Bellingcat citizen’s investigation collective.
