“The Kollective”

Fighting for truth in a world of deception

“The Kollective”, a fictionnal series airing in early 2025, supported by the Council of Europe’s Pilot Programme for Series Co-Production is based on the successful documentary “Bellingcat : Truth in a Post-Truth World”.

The Forum Talk will explore critical questions raised by the upcoming series, examining how disinformation on social media and unreliable sources threatens democracy. They will discuss the role of diverse, trustworthy content in upholding freedom of speech and consider how cultural diversity in media can counteract divisive narratives. The debate will dive into series’ ability to instigate viewers’ curiosity, develop their knowledge and raise awareness of contemporary issues.
