Back European Film Awards 2026: Eurimages Co-productions in the Spotlight

The Eurimages Fund is proud to count several supported co-productions among the nominations announced today in Seville for the European Film Awards 2026.

The following films are nominated in various categories:

FIUME O MORTE! by Igor Bezinović (European film, European documentary film)

OLIVIA AND THE INVISIBLE EARTHQUAKE by Irene Iborra Rizo (European film, European animated feature film)

SENTIMENTAL VALUE by Joachim Trier (European film, European director, European actress, European actor, European screenwriter)

SIRAT by Oliver Laxe (European film, European director, European actor, European screenwriter)

TALES FROM THE MAGIC GARDEN by David Súkup, Patrik Pašš, Leon Vidmar & Jean-Claude Rozec (European film, European animated feature film)

THE LAST VIKING by Anders Thomas Jensen (European actor)

FRANZ by Agnieszka Holland (European actor)

LITTLE TROUBLE GIRLS by Urška Djukić (European discovery – FIPRESCI Award)

I ACCIDENTALLY WROTE A BOOK by Nóra Lakos (Young Audience Award)

The co-production SONGS OF SLOW BURNING EARTH by Olha Zhurba, nominated in the categories European film and European documentary, also received support from the Eurimages Fund through its partnership with the Ukrainian Institute under the proMOTION Programme initiative.

Eurimages warmly congratulates all the artistic and technical teams of the above-mentioned films: their success is equally that of a Europe creating together.

The European Film Awards Ceremony will take place on 17 January 2026 in Berlin, where the Eurimages International Co-production Award will also be presented.
