Eurimages and the European Film Academy have the pleasure to announce producer Uljana Kim as the winner of this years’ Eurimages International Co-Production Award.
Established in Vilnius-Lithuania in 1997, her production company Studio Uljana Kim has since produced 34 feature and documentary films of which no less than ten were supported by Eurimages.
Uljana Kim received her award in person at the ceremony of the 36th European Film Awards on 9 December 2023 in Berlin.
Other films supported by Eurimages were also honoured at this celebration of European cinema, including THE PROMISED LAND (DK, DE, SE) by Nikolaj Arcel, which won the European Actor (Mads Mikkelsen), Cinematography (Rasmus Videbæk) and Costume Design (Kicki Ilander) Awards, ROBOT DREAMS (ES, FR) by Pablo Berger with the European Animated Film Award and CLUB ZERO (AT, DE, UK, FR) by Jessica Hausner with the European Original Score Award. The film SMOKE SAUNA SISTERHOOD (EE, FR, IS) by Anna Hints, winner of the European Documentary Award, was also given the Audentia Prize by the Eurimages Fund at the last edition of the Beldocs International Documentary Film Festival in Serbia.
