The workshop will provide an overview of the Cybercrime Legislation Implementation Handbook tailored for the Pacific region, designed by Pacific Island Law Officers' Network (PILON) in partnership with the Council of Europe. The Handbook addresses every stage of cybercrime legislative reform, from understanding foundational challenges to adapting law reform to local contexts and factoring in long term implantation plans. It features practical guidance and real-world case studies from Pacific countries, offering actionable advice adapted to the regional context. The session aims for an interactive discussion in navigating the complexities of cybercrime legislation implementation in small islands states.
