Yurii Shaposhnikov was appointed Head of International Cooperation of the SBU Cyber Department in 2024 after serving for several years in leadership, technical, and operational roles. Throughout his career, he has specialized in combating cyber-enabled organized crime and leading complex cybercrime investigations.  

He currently oversees international cybersecurity cooperation and directs technical and criminal investigations into transnational cyber threats, including ransomware and large-scale hacking operations, working closely with foreign law enforcement agencies and international partners, he has helped build trusted operational partnerships that enable effective cross-border investigations, intelligence sharing, and coordinated responses to cybercrime.
