New Zealand becomes the 81st Party to the Convention on Cybercrime

On 28 August 2025, New Zealand acceded to the Convention on Cybercrime (ETS 185).

With New Zealand's accession, 81 States are now Parties, two have signed it and 12 have been invited to accede to the Convention.

The Convention will enter into force for New Zealand on 1 December 2025.
