Since 2015, Michele Socco works in the unit "Security in the Digital Age" of the European Commission, dealing with cybercrime and digital investigations.
More specifically, his responsibilities span over lawful access to data, capacity building for law enforcement authorities in the area of digital investigations and online fraud. He ensures the representation of the European Union in the T-CY.
He is part of the team that negotiated the UN Convention against Cybercrime, and other international instruments on cross-border access to digital evidence
