Marius Houwen is the founder of Convenor, which develops working software for EU funded projects, supporting stakeholder and event management, analytics and reporting obligations. One focus throughout his career has been how scenario-based discussions advance policy; he is currently a partner at Risksight, where he designs and implements scenario based discussions for public and private entities. He was Deputy Project Director at the EU Institute for Security Studies, working on capacity building and cyber diplomacy through the EU Cyber Direct Project, having previously coordinated cybersecurity and digital diplomacy at Microsoft European Government Affairs. He holds an M.A. from the Brussels School of Governance and a BSc from Leiden University.
