Goran Jankoski is Manager in the Supervision Department at the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, with more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector. His work focuses on licensing and supervision of new market players, with particular emphasis on risks related to digital resilience, cybersecurity, AML/CFT-related technology risks and emerging new financial technologies.
He has contributed to the development and implementation of national regulatory requirements aligned with European supervisory practices, particularly in relation to risks arising from emerging financial technologies. Goran also works as an international consultant for the Council of Europe and other international organisations, with a focus on crypto-assets, online fraud, money laundering typologies, and risks arising from AI and other emerging technologies in the financial sector.
