Gareth Sansom is Deputy-Director in the Organized Crime, Technology & Investigative Powers unit in the Criminal Law Policy Section of Justice Canada. He has worked in the field of cybercrime for three decades domestically and through various international organizations including the United Nations and the G7. In addition to his previous experience as Head of the Canadian Delegation to the T-CY during the Second Additional Protocol negotiations, Gareth served on the Bureau of the T-CY for multiple terms, including as Vice-Chair. Gareth is currently the chair of the T-CY Artificial Intelligence Working Group preparing a Mapping Study on Cybercrime, electronic evidence & Artificial Intelligence.
