Erica O’Neil

Erica O’Neil has been the Assistant Deputy Chief for Computer Crime in the U.S. Department of Justice, Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section, since 2016.  In that role, she provides advice and support to attorneys and law enforcement on computer crime and electronic evidence issues, has trained prosecutors and law enforcement at the federal and international levels, and has participated as a subject matter expert on cybercrime and electronic evidence practice and policy in international fora. Prior to her time at CCIPS, Ms. O’Neil served as a U.S. federal prosecutor for 16 years.
