CyberSouth+: Regional workshop on national curricula on cybercrime and electronic evidence for magistrates

The joint initiative of the European Union and the Council of Europe, CyberSouth+, organised an online workshop with the Judicial Academies and Training Departments of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco and Palestine* to discuss and assess the existing educational programmes on cybercrime and electronic evidence for magistrates.

Participants introduced training programmes in place at national level and the discussions focused on identifying the existing gaps and how to address them through further capacity building activities. The need for updating the national training curricula by including international standards and good practices, was also discussed.

The CyberSouth+ project will continue collaborating with the project partners and enhance their domestic judicial training curricula, ensuring alignment with international standards.
