CyberSouth+: Regional training course on cybercrime and electronic evidence for women investigators and prosecutors

The CyberSouth+ joint initiative of the European Union and the Council of Europe, together with INTERPOL project Momentum MENA, organised a four-day training  on cybercrime and electronic evidence  focusing on enhancing the comprehensive response of criminal justice professionals to cybercrime and advancing gender equality in this field.

During the training course, women  criminal justice practitioners from seven Southern Mediterranean partners gained new skills in cybercrime investigative techniques, increased knowledge on international cooperation, and on legal tools provided by the Convention on Cybercrime (Budapest Convention).

INTERPOL and the Cybercrime Programme Office of Council of Europe (C-PROC) will continue to join efforts in supporting criminal justice authorities around the globe to address serious threats posed by criminal activities, while promoting gender equality.
