Bertha Nayelly Loya Marin

Nayelly Loya joined the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in 2010. Since 2018 she has been the Head of the Global Cybercrime Program for UNODC. Located in El Salvador, she coordinates the Global Program, present in Africa, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Central and South America, which assists countries in strengthening their capacities for investigating, prosecuting, and preventing cybercrime and crimes facilitated by information and communication technologies. At the same time, since May 2022, she has served as Head of the UNODC in El Salvador and is responsible for directing the office and assisting institutions of the justice sector in the UNODC mandate.
