A roundtable on the relations between courts and the media took place in Tirana, Albania, on 26 January 2016, to present the main findings resulting from the visit to Albania of the experts Cedric Visart de Bocarmé, Gerhard Reissner and Hans Rathgeb (the latter representing “EURALIUS”). The roundtable facilitated a constructive exchange of views on how to improve the relations between the judiciary and the media. The experts’ findings will serve as a basis for future legislative reform in Albania. Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, of the High Council of the Judiciary, of Albanian courts, and of the Media and International Organisations attended the event.
