The "Persian language and litterature" section offers two weekly classes (beginners and proficients) in order to discover the Persian language, an Indo-European language spoken on the territories of Iran and Afghanistan, as well as in the adjacent countries and two member states of the Council of Europe: Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation, in the form of a parent language. The Persian language, which was the language of the Moghol Empire among others, is an ancient language of culture, which inherited from the old Persian and the Middle Persian, and it benefits from an abundant literature.
