The music section aims to bring together amateur musicians. Concerts for staff and the general public are held throughout the year.

Activities:

  • The 12 Stars Band is a touring group composed of amateur musicians who perform folk, pop, and rock songs. 
  • The choir is made up of current and former staff members, as well as members of the public. It sings in many languages and across a variety of genres, ranging from gospel to more traditional folk and classical pieces. The choir director is Avellaneda DURAND ZUNIGA. There is also a classical singing workshop led by Frédéric GAUFICHON. 
  • Guitar lessons are taught by Gregory Schneider, a professional musician with many years of experience teaching at music schools. These lessons are designed for beginner guitarists.

How about brightening your lunchtime with live music and dance? To celebrate the Fête de la Musique, the Amicale is hosting a lunchtime concert in the Agora main entrance on Thursday, 18 June. Bring your colleagues, bring your lunch, and enjoy the great performances we’ve lined up for you:

12:15 – Amicale Choir

12:45 – Greek Dance

13:10 – Ukrainian Dance

13:30 – Flamenco

Main Choir

  • Rates: The fee is €20 per person per class.

Under the direction of Frédéric GAUFICHON. Rehearsals of classical works performed during participatory concerts organized by ‘l’Orchestre du Rhin’.

Thursdays from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, Projection Room, Le Palais.

Under the direction of Avellaneda DURAND ZUNIGA.
