The Psychology Club has the pleasure of inviting you to a lunch-time lecture on “ A Pilgrimage towards the Self” by Susanna Bucher, Dr. sc. nat. ETH from the International School of Analytical Psychology in Zürich (ISAP). She will be welcoming you with a 16th Century Spanish Folk Song which represents mystical love.
She will be discussing the notion of psychological pilgrimage, leaving the known path and the advantages of being lost. She will explain the symbolism of the oak tree and integrating the «other» into every-day life. She will talk about C. G. Jung’s formula of how to feel at home in our different worlds: ‘It seems as if it were only through an experience of symbolic reality that man […] can find his way back to a world in which he is no longer a stranger’.
The lecture will take place on Monday 16 June at the Palais room 16 at 12:30. It will be followed at 17:00 by a workshop on guided imagination at the Agora Room C.
Please register for the workshop in the QR-code in the poster.
The event is open to all staff. Coaches, facilitators and confidential counsellors are particularly welcome!
