The Salsa Picante Dance Section is delighted to announce the resumption of salsa classes for the 2026/27 season. Classes will be led by an instructor from the CANDELA association.

Introductory classes

If you’d like to discover Cuban salsa in a friendly atmosphere, please come along to the free introductory classes on Tuesdays 15 and 22 September. A beginners’ class will take place from 12.15 pm to 1.15 pm for those who have never danced salsa before, and an intermediate/advanced class will take place from 1.15 pm to 2.15 pm for those who have already had at least one year’s experience of Cuban salsa.

Class timetable

From Tuesday 29 September, students will be divided into three ability groups:

12.00–12.45 beginners

12.45–13.30 intermediate

13.30–14.15 advanced

Venue

Classes are held in dance studio no. 3 at the Council of Europe Bastion (chemin de la salle de squash, at the Palais de l’Europe, level -2).

Fees

180 euros per year (or the option to enroll for one semester for 90 euros)
