Following the charity sales organised in 2025 by Amicale’s Knitting & Crocheting Club in cooperation with the Association Support Action Ukraine, we are pleased to share how the funds raised have helped children affected by the war in Ukraine. 

Easter Charity Sales – 15–16 April 2025 (Palais and Agora)

Thanks to the generosity of participants, 4,473 euros were collected during the Easter sales. 

These funds helped finance the participation of eight children in a psychological rehabilitation programme in the Carpathian Mountains, organised by Support Action Ukraine in August 2025. During this ten-day stay, the children — many of them orphans or half-orphans from the Sumy region near the front line — were able to rest, recover and experience a safe and peaceful environment. 

Christmas Charity Sales – 2–3 December 2025 (Palais and Agora)

During the winter sales, 3,618 euros were raised to support children in Ukraine facing particularly difficult conditions due to ongoing power cuts and heating shortages. 

With these funds, the association purchased two large Anker power stations for a children’s home caring for around 160 children with mental disabilities, including about 50 who are bedridden. These devices help caregivers maintain essential daily activities despite electricity shortages.
