Report: Solidarity Initiatives by the Amicale (Update on support provided and ongoing initiatives)

€3,000 - Strasbourg Action Solidarité

We extend our gratitude to the Amicale for the €3,000 donation granted to the association, intended to support its food, material, and administrative aid efforts for the homeless and anyone in need.

The Amicale’s donation was used as follows:

• 400 meals distributed over 4 weeks, on Tuesday evenings at Place de la Gare in Strasbourg. Each distribution attracts an average of 330 recipients, requiring a budget of €500 for food purchases.
• €1,000 set aside to guarantee emergency housing for families with children when government services close. This amount would provide two weeks of housing for a family of four.

€3,058 - Solidarity Initiative for Ukraine

We extend our gratitude to the Amicale for its additional donation of €3,058, which was used to supplement the funds raised during the December “Charity Market.”

The Amicale’s contribution was used as follows:

• The purchase of an EMEX-KA6 portable X-ray machine for a medical rehabilitation center in Kharkiv, Ukraine, at a total cost of 910,000 UAH (equivalent to €18,350)

The first portion was purchased by the charity “Mist Nadii,” and the second portion was funded by charitable donations collected during the “Charity Market.”

€2,500 - Solidarity with Armenian refugees

We would like to thank the Amicale for its donation of €2,500 to support families displaced by the war and reconstruction efforts.

The Amicale’s donation will be used as follows:

• €450 for the purchase of chickens / a mini farm
• €1,200 for household goods or professional equipment
• €250 for school and educational supplies
• €300 for a mini heater
• €300 for transportation / delivery

€1,500 - Support for Action Ukraine

We would like to thank the Amicale for its financial support of €1,500, which was provided for the organization of the charity concert “Lumières sur l’ombre – Musique de résistance,” held on February 24, 2026, at the Palais des Fêtes in Strasbourg. Thanks to the support of approximately 500 attendees and numerous partners, €13,800 was raised.

The Amicale’s contribution was used as follows:

• €1,400 to rent a piano for the concert;
• €100 as a partial contribution toward the cost of transporting the instruments.

€1,700 – “Partir-Offrir” Association

We would like to thank the Amicale for its donation of €1,700 for the February 19 aid convoy to Zaporizhzhia.

The Amicale’s contribution was used as follows:

• To help purchase six generators and two forced-air heating systems.
